KW: Where to start?

BM: It is important, in thinking about what democracy could become, to try to theorize this becoming integrally-affective of politics and the role of the dividual. This has to be done without giving credence to the idea that rationality and affectivity are opposites (rather, deconstructing that opposition). It is critical to be able to think about and experiment with the ways in which affectively-based politics can give rise to radically inclusive forms of direct democracy.

KW: ¿Dónde empezar?

BM: es importante, pensar en que podría convertirse la democracia, para tratar de teorizar esta transformación integro afectiva de la política y el rol del individuo. Esto tiene que ser sin otorgar crédito a la idea de que la racionalidad y afectividad son opuestas (más bien, desarmar esa oposición). Es fundamental estar abierto a la idea de pensar y experimentar con las maneras en las que las políticas afectivas pueden dar lugar a formas radicalmente inclusivas de democracia directa.
